The location was ideal and excellent, at a walking distance from a medieval cathedral. It was located in a beautiful area so close to the Sierra de Aracena, the church, and the mountains, a brilliant base for me. I liked the stay here.

The white washed walls and rustic furnishings made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The common areas, such as the garden and veranda, were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. As a senior, I found the hotel to be very accessible and accommodating, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I would have appreciated if there were more options for meals within walking distance. It would have been convenient for senior guests like myself to have a restaurant open in the village, rather than having to drive to nearby villages.

Posada Del Castano is the perfect place to escape the city noise and enjoy the rustic charm of this small village. The wifi works well, which is great because there's nothing to do here. But don't worry, you can always drive for 15 km to visit a cave!

What a fantastic Easter getaway! We stumbled upon this hidden gem in a charming little town. the hotel was beautifully converted and had a wonderfully homely feel. the family who hosted us were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We loved the lovely garden and the nicely decorated rooms. the location was perfect for exploring the area and going on scenic walks. Plus, we were allowed to use the kitchen to warm up our Easter feast, which was a great bonus!
While our stay was amazing, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the limited options for dining and shopping in the town were a bit disappointing, so we had to be mindful of that.

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the village near the church and surrounded by beautiful mountains. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, with lovely decorative touches throughout. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great advice on hiking trails and activities in the area. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade pancakes, jams, and honey. I also appreciated the use of the kitchen to warm up food during the holidays.
Nothings.
